DemocracyLife Real Estate Association: The Story Behind the Name
By Kiran Bhimrao Chabukswar
Founder, DemocracyLife Real Estate Association
Introduction
Hello everyone, my name is Kiran Bhimrao Chabukswar. I am the founder of DemocracyLife Real Estate Association, an organization working under the umbrella of the DemocracyLife Association. Many people often ask me about the inspiration behind this unique name. Today, I want to share the story of how “DemocracyLife” came to be and what it represents.
The Meaning of DemocracyLife
The name DemocracyLife is a combination of two powerful words:
-
Democracy = (Lokshahi)
-
Life = (Jeevan)
Together, DemocracyLife translates to or “a life based on democratic values.”
This concept resonated deeply with me when I first encountered it. It symbolizes a way of living that upholds fairness, equality, participation, and respect for every individual—values that are essential not only in governance but also in everyday life and business.
The Inspiration Behind the Name
In July 2021, while I was studying and researching various social and organizational concepts, I came across the term DemocracyLife. The idea of living a life rooted in democratic principles struck a chord with me. I was so inspired by this concept that I decided to build an organization around it.
This inspiration led me to establish an NGO under the name DemocracyLife, and since then, we have been working across multiple sectors to promote these values through our initiatives.
Why DemocracyLife?
You might wonder, “Why choose such a name?” The answer lies in the vision.
There are many organizations around the world that start with the word “Democracy,” registered both in India and abroad. However, DemocracyLife is special because:
-
It reflects a philosophy, not just a label.
-
It emphasizes living democratic values in action.
-
It represents inclusivity, transparency, and empowerment in all that we do.
Our name is officially registered with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), Government of India, under the DemocracyLife Association. This registration allows us to operate legally and ethically across India and beyond.
Our Vision: All Over India and Beyond
While our roots are in India, our vision is not limited by borders. DemocracyLife Real Estate Association aims to work all over India and eventually expand its reach internationally.
There are no restrictions preventing us from operating outside India. In fact, we believe that the values of DemocracyLife are universal and can benefit communities worldwide.
What We Do
Under the DemocracyLife Association, we are active in various sectors, including:
-
